A Gentle First Step Toward Independence and Discovery
Is your toddler showing signs of independence but isn’t quite ready for a full preschool drop-off? Our Little Explorers class is the perfect “bridge” program, designed to make this important transition a positive and joyful experience for both children and their caretakers.
In this skill-building class, our experienced instructors, Heather and Tara, will guide a small group of toddlers through 45 minutes of structured, play-based learning. We focus on creating a nurturing environment where your child can build confidence, make new friends, and explore their world in our unique sensory-focused space.
What Your Little Explorer Will Experience:
This class is carefully designed to foster key developmental milestones in a fun and engaging way. Each week, your child will:
- Build Confidence with Gentle Separation: Practice separating from a parent/caretaker for short periods in a safe, supportive, and familiar setting.
- Develop Positive Social Skills: Learn the basics of sharing, taking turns, and interacting with peers through guided group activities.
- Practice Listening & Following Directions: Engage in fun games and activities that encourage listening and following simple, two-step instructions.
- Enjoy Rich Sensory Exploration: Dive into new textures, sounds, and sights with activities curated from our signature sensory-rich environment.
- Engage with Music & Movement: Get the wiggles out, learn new songs, and develop gross motor skills through creative movement and music time.
A Mindful Moment for Parents & Caretakers
We believe in supporting the entire family. While your child is in class, their parent or caretaker is invited to stay and recharge in our comfortable parent lounge. Each week, we will offer a complimentary mindfulness activity—a chance to connect with other parents, enjoy a quiet cup of coffee, or simply take a well-deserved moment for yourself.
Important Class Information:
- Parent/Caretaker Role: Parents are required to remain in the building for the duration of the 45-minute class.
- Class Structure: This is a session-based class, not a drop-in activity. Registration is for the full session to ensure consistency and progress for the children.
Spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality, personal experience for every child. Register today to secure your spot!
